Used 2016 John Deere R240

About this unit

This John Deere R240 disc mower features a 6-disc cutterbar with a 7'11" working width, making it a solid match for small to mid-size hay operations that need reliable, clean cutting in grass and mixed forage. The integral Cat II 3-point hitch provides a stable, easy-to-hookup mount to compatible tractors, while the 540 RPM PTO driveline is a common, straightforward match for many utility tractors in this size class. A hydraulic lift system raises and lowers the cutterbar from the cab for efficient headland turns and simple transition between field and transport positions, helping the operator cover ground quickly with less manual adjustment.
