About this unit

The John Deere Z970R ZTrak is a zero-turn mower for owners with large lawns, acreage or grounds who want to cover a lot of ground and still leave a clean finish. The 72 In. side discharge deck cuts a wide pass and throws clippings to the side, so you keep moving across open areas. A 35 hp gross engine and a hydrostatic transmission with twin lever control give quick, direct steering and ground speed up to 12 mph. The fully adjustable suspension seat with armrests and a 24" high back takes the edge off bumps and keeps you comfortable through a big mowing day. Michelin X Tweel Turf tires sized for the 72 In. deck and flat free caster wheels take the chore of fixing flat front tires off your list, and the rollover protective structure adds security on slopes within the 20 degree operating limit.
