New 2026 John Deere S220

About this unit

The John Deere S220 Lawn Tractor with Accel Deep Mower Deck suits homeowners whose yards are too big for a push mower and who want a capable, easy-handling tractor to finish the mowing in one session. The 22 hp V-twin engine has cast-iron cylinder liners built to last and gives the 42 in. side discharge deck the power to keep moving through thick grass. The deep, flat-top stamped steel deck is designed to hold cut quality at faster speeds and in tall grass. The hydrostatic transaxle changes speed and direction with the pedals, and standard cruise control eases long passes. An 18 in. turning radius helps you work around trees and beds, and the no-tools oil drain keeps routine maintenance simple. Representative photos shown. Actual unit may vary.
