New 2026 Frontier RT3049

About this unit

The Frontier RT3049 rotary tiller is made for owners of small acreage, food plots and large vegetable or flower gardens who want to turn packed ground into a clean seedbed with a compact tractor. It suits tractors from 18 to 35 hp with a 540 rpm PTO, and the iMatch compatible Category 1 hitch makes hookup simpler. C-shaped tines work the soil with less horsepower demand, so a smaller tractor can keep moving through the job. A gear drive transmission asks for less upkeep than a roller chain drive, which means more time tilling and less time servicing. Skid shoes set the working depth up to 7.5 in., and the slip clutch on the PTO shaft helps protect the drivetrain if the tines hit a buried rock or root. Representative photos shown.
