John Deere mulching systems use durable blades designed to chop grass into very small particles. The mulch that is distributed across the lawn will turn to feed, eliminating the need for bagging. This improves efficiency by reducing cleanup time. Versatility: This kit converts the existing mower deck into a dedicated mulching deck. Made with durable materials: The mulching baffle component is made from molded plastic instead of steal, reducing the likelihood of corrosion from moisture that gets inside of the mower deck. Easy installation: The mulching attachment is fastened to the top of the mower with wing nuts. No special tools are needed for installment. Fits: 7 BU HOPPER, 14 BU HOPPER, 47 IN., 47 IN.
