A threshing cylinder consisting of a number of steel teeth attached to metal bars which are mounted to the outer circumference of a series of hubs. As the cylinder rotates its teeth pass between the stationary teeth of the concave which causes the threshing action. The spike-tooth design is used almost exclusively for rice or edible beans.
